Street dance battle «ICY FIRE VOL.3»

A battle floor a few minutes' walk from Hoàn Kiếm lake, with one rule that flips the usual hierarchy: from the quarter-finals a beginner and a seasoned dancer are drawn into the same team. You do not need to dance to enjoy it — that single rule turns every round into a gamble.

Two 1vs1 categories run in parallel: Newbie, open to dancers who have never won a 1vs1 title, and Pro for everyone else. The music stays inside the four styles the club works in — hiphop, breaking, waacking and popping. Prelims split into three pools of five qualifiers each, with the three sixth-placed dancers fighting a 1vs1vs1 for the last spot in the top 16.

From the top 8 the organisers draw one Newbie and one Pro into each 2vs2 pair; each pair sends a single representative to the floor, and teams call each other out in ballot order. The final runs on secret rules, released in stages at D-15, D-10, D-5 and D-DAY.

Judging is handled by three dancers competing under the stage names Huy TK, Howl and Quốc Tít, with DJ Duy Nguyễn on music and King Nhật Mão hosting. The winner takes three banners and 3,000,000 VND; the runner-up three banners and 1,500,000 VND.

ICY FIRE belongs to Kim Liên Icy Crew — KLiC New Generation, a dance club that has been running for more than ten years across ten intakes of members. After two seasons the third edition widens both the field and the production, while keeping the original point: a floor where dancers of any level meet.

Competitors may enter one category only, and registration closes at 23:59 on 15 August. Whether you sign up or just take a good seat, expect a long, loud afternoon.
