LOCKERS ASSEMBLE! x LOCK CITY HANOI — Hanoi's first Locking tournament

   On August 1, 2026 Hanoi hosts its first Locking tournament dedicated exclusively to Lockers: LOCKERS ASSEMBLE! x LOCK CITY HANOI. It is run by DRAGON CITY LOCKERS, a professional Locking crew from Vietnam, living up to their slogan "FOR LOCKERS, BY LOCKERS".

   What makes this edition special: the LOCK CITY HANOI qualifier is held alongside the tournament, which turns the battle into a gateway to the LOCK CITY WORLD FINALS taking place on October 3 in Manila, the Philippines. The opportunity is open to everyone around the world, not only to Lockers from Vietnam.

   The tournament runs in two categories:

• 1vs1 Locker — the main category, for Lockers.
• 1vs1 Non-Locker — a brand new format for dancers of other styles. The organisers promise plenty of laughs as dancers from outside the Locking scene step onto the floor.

   Prizes for the champions:

• Winner, Lockers category: a direct spot in the Top 16 of the "LOCK CITY WORLD FINALS" in Manila, the Philippines.
• Winner, Lockers category: flights and accommodation fully sponsored for the duration of the world finals.
• Winner, Non-Lockers category: 3,000,000 VND in cash.
• Winner, Non-Lockers category: a champion's banner and gifts from the sponsors.

   The judging panel brings together names that have inspired the Locking communities in Vietnam and Singapore:

• Judges, Locker category: CHUNKY (Singapore).
• Judges, Locker category: LADY BIRD (Singapore).
• Judges, Non-Locker category: CK ANIMATION (Vietnam).
• Judges, Non-Locker category: C2LOW (Vietnam).

   Music and hosting on the day:

• DJ: JAYC (Vietnam).
• MC: HOANG CON (Vietnam).

   Competitors register in advance through the organisers' form. The battle starts at 13:00 and runs for about five hours, until 18:00, at LAST FIRE STUDIO — 7th floor, 131 Đặng Tiến Đông, Đống Đa district. The organisers have not announced any ticket terms for spectators.
