Screening «Tự Do» (En Liberté!)

A young police detective spends eight years certain her late husband was a hero — until she learns he sent an innocent man to prison in his place. Tự Do (En Liberté!) opens right there, and refuses to stay heavy for long.

Yvonne sets out to make it right, tracking down Antoine just as he walks free, but she can't bring herself to tell him the whole truth. Director Pierre Salvadori turns guilt and injustice into a screwball chase, with Adèle Haenel and Pio Marmaï leading two people who keep colliding in ways neither expects.

If you like French films that move fast without losing their edge, this screening is part of Institut français Vietnam's Ciné-Club, hosted with White Light Cinéhub — the ticket includes a drink, so come early for a seat in the small hall.

In French with Vietnamese and English subtitles.
