Screening «Sirocco và Vương quốc gió»
About the event
Sisters Juliette (4) and Carmen (8) follow their neighbour, a children's-book writer, through a hidden passage — and turn into cats in a world ruled by the wind. Sirocco và Vương quốc gió (Sirocco and the Kingdom of the Winds) picks up from there.
Director Benoît Chieux builds a hand-drawn world around Agnes's stories, where the girls meet Sirocco, a wind-spirit as frightening as he is magnetic. The animated feature runs 1h20.
A good pick if you're bringing children — it's part of Institut français Vietnam's Ciné-Club with White Light Cinéhub, and the ticket includes a drink.
In French with Vietnamese and English subtitles.
