Fireworks show «Thương cảng phồn hoa» («The Prosperous Trading Port»)

   Fireworks over Ha Long Bay have turned into a nightly fixture rather than a holiday one-off: the sky above Bai Chay lights up every evening beside the Lighthouse, Ngọn Hải Đăng.

   The pyrotechnics come as part of «Thương cảng phồn hoa», «The Prosperous Trading Port» — a show built from lighting, music and fireworks staged on the shore of the bay.

   Sun World started the run in late June and has kept it open-ended, «until further notice». Early in the week there is one launch an evening; from Friday to Sunday there are two, the extra slot added so visitors can eat, spend time at Sun Paradise Land and still catch the display.

   Launch times: Monday to Thursday one volley at 21:30; Friday to Sunday two, at 20:30 and 21:45. The show itself starts at 21:00.

   The viewing point is Sun Porto Town, part of Sun Elite City in Bai Chay, with a clear line of sight across the water.
