Flower festival «Ngàn hoa về phố biển» (Thousand Flowers Come to the Coastal City)

   For a full month a five-star resort on Nhơn Lý beach turns into an open-air garden: thousands of flowers and ornamental plants brought in from across Vietnam are set out along the internal roads, around the hotel blocks, over the golf course and down to the shoreline. You wander, you sit, you shoot — and the sea stays in the frame.

   The point of the festival is to put the two faces of Gia Lai province side by side: blooms typical of the Central Highlands forests next to bright varieties from other regions, with the Quy Nhơn coast as the backdrop. It is the province telling its “highlands meet the sea” story in pictures rather than slogans.

   The essentials

• — artistic flower installations along the resort roads, the hotel area, the golf course and the seafront;
• — Central Highlands species displayed together with flowers from other parts of the country;
• — Tây Nguyên gong nights (cồng chiêng) with traditional vòng xoang circle dancing every Saturday and Sunday evening;
• — Vietnam Travel Day 2026 hosted on the same grounds on 13–17 August: opening ceremony, B2B trade-connection session and gala dinner;
• — an art programme and low-altitude fireworks on the opening night.

   It works for families — the whole thing sits inside a gated resort, so children can roam; for anyone who collects photographs, since the installations are built as ready-made backdrops; for weekend guests who want more than a stretch of sand; and for travel-trade professionals, thanks to the business block attached to it.

   The venue has been running since 2016 and combines five-star hotels and villas, a convention centre and a 36-hole international golf course stretching along Nhơn Lý beach. The festival is staged by FLC Group together with the Gia Lai People's Committee as part of National Tourism Year – Gia Lai 2026; the group is also testing road and helicopter links between Quy Nhơn and Pleiku.
