Mid-Autumn Night «Sắc màu Lâm Đồng – Chung một vầng trăng» in Đà Lạt

Lam Vien Square and the whole ring of Xuan Huong Lake turn into a moon-festival playground in the middle of the city: lanterns, tableaux, a lantern procession and lion drums on the space that is normally just a place to stroll. No ticket needed, you only have to turn up.

This is the provincial centre zone of the Mid-Autumn Festival 2026, run under a plan issued by the People's Committee of Lam Dong Province under the theme «Sắc màu Lâm Đồng – Chung một vầng trăng» — «Colours of Lam Dong, one shared moon». Province-wide activities run 21–25 September, and the Da Lat festival night itself on Lam Vien Square is scheduled for 24 September from 18:00, per the culture department's preliminary plan. In Da Lat the programme is led by the People's Committee of Xuan Huong – Da Lat Ward, together with neighbouring wards and communes, organisations and businesses.

It is aimed at children, residents and visitors. If you are in Da Lat with kids this week, this is the largest Mid-Autumn gathering in town.

The plan also frames the festival as a way to promote Lam Dong's image and culture and to strengthen the destination after the recent administrative reorganisation. During the same period the province's eastern zone holds its own programme on the open-air stage of the provincial Theatre and Arts Exhibition Centre in Phan Thiet Ward.

The organisers have announced no charge of any kind. Come to Lam Vien Square under the eighth-month full moon.
