Beach party «Song Ngư Hý Nguyệt» at Sailing Club Nha Trang

   This year the full moon on Nha Trang's city beach stretches across two nights in a row: a DJ duo, a live band, a moonlit dance piece and a fire show follow one another right at the waterline. It is the Mid-Autumn Festival in beach-club form, where silk robes meet bass on the sand.

   Both nights run under the title «Song Ngư Hý Nguyệt» - a pair of fish playing with the moon, a motif from Vietnamese folk prints, which Sailing Club pairs with the phrase «Trăng rằm đoàn viên», the full moon of reunion.

   This one is for anyone who would rather meet the eighth-month moon without a family table and paper star lanterns, and with electronic music, cocktails and the night sea instead. Both evenings share the same line-up, so either night works, or take both if you want to hear The Baby Gang twice.

   Sailing Club turns 32 this year on this stretch of shore and runs as a beach club, a restaurant and a night venue at once, so the logistics of a large open-air night are familiar ground for the team.
