Golf tournament «Vô địch các Câu lạc bộ Golf Hải Phòng Mở rộng 2026» (Hai Phong Open Golf Clubs Championship)

   The port city's team match-play tournament is back after a two-year gap, on the same course where it made its name, and this time it is open to clubs from across the country. Three days of play, a few dozen teams, and a format in which a single hole can turn everything around.

   The format is the point. Teams meet in match play, winning or losing hole by hole rather than adding up a total score. Organisers expect 16–20 men's clubs and 4–6 women's clubs, widening the field beyond the members of the Hai Phong Golf Association.

   The last edition, in 2024, ran on the same Vinpearl course with 11 clubs. After two days CLB Golf Quê Lúa - Đất Cảng took the title, with CLB Golf Dương Kinh second and CLB Doanh Nhân Trẻ third.

   The tournament is staged by the Hai Phong Golf Association under the patronage of the Vietnam Golf Association and delivered by VG Corp; Vi Quốc Tuấn, vice-president of the national association and head of the Hai Phong body, chairs the organising committee. Results here also decide which clubs go on to the national men's clubs championship in October.

   The course sits on Vũ Yên island, a short drive from the city centre over the bridge — an easy half-day if you are staying in Hai Phong and want to see competitive golf rather than play it. Match play is also the friendliest format for a newcomer: you only need to know who is up on the current hole.
