Concert «Whisper of Two Hearts»
Hoa Phuong Theatre
600,000 ₫ – 3,000,000 ₫
MusicalTwo Vietnamese singers with opposite voices share a stage in Hai Phong on a Saturday night in mid-August: one writes the television ballads she sings, the other has a low register that Vietnamese pop almost never produces. If you want to hear what contemporary Vietnamese ballad actually sounds like live, this is a straightforward way in.
In brief:
Vicky Nhung is a singer-songwriter. Two songs from the VTV drama «Tình yêu và tham vọng» — «Giá như ta chẳng biết nhau» and «Tình yêu tự tìm được lối» — are hers, both written and performed.
Chu Thúy Quỳnh broke through with the hit «Xem như em chẳng may». Her contralto is unusual enough that VietNamNet has written about listeners mistaking her for a transgender singer. She trained under People's Artist Hà Thủy, and in 2025 recorded her first film soundtrack, for the series «Khế ước bán dâu».
The evening suits ballad listeners and anyone who prefers a seated hall to a festival field — the set is sung live throughout, with no playback. Because seats are sold by zone rather than individually, groups should book in one go if they want to sit together.
The six zones are named after the emotional arc of the programme:
A booking code arrives by email as soon as payment clears, within 24 hours at the latest; the organisers send the QR ticket with your seat number after that. Enter your email and phone number carefully at checkout.
The venue sits in Thuy Nguyen, across the Cam river from central Hai Phong, so allow extra time if you are coming from the old town.
Come for the pairing: you rarely get these two registers back to back in one room.
