Dance contest «H.O.T Dance Competition 2026 – Haiphong Open Tribe»

About the event

An outdoor stage on a hill above Hai Phong, three age brackets from primary schoolchildren to university crews, and a prize pool big enough to pull teams from across the country. If you follow the northern dance scene, this is a rare weekend where you can watch most of it in one place.

The contest is run by Ishare — the Vietnam Youth Federation of Hai Phong as a dance showcase competition, open to crews, clubs and studios nationwide, with teams of 2 to 15 members. Total prize value: 38,000,000 VND. This year's theme, «Chất phố, Hồn rừng» — city grit, forest spirit — appears on the poster as «Street on the hill».

The three days are split by role:

  • — Day one — rehearsals, experience zones and community activities
  • — Day two — the finals of all three brackets, the Judge Show, results and the main awards
  • — Day three — after party, workshop, talkshow, DJ set, feedback sessions with organisers and judges, plus the secondary prizes

The brackets are Junior – Kid (6–15), Highschool (15–18) and University & 18–25. Judging is handled by Trung Brown, Cộ and Tường Milo for Junior – Kid, and Quốc Tít, Cộ and Tường Milo for the other two.

Spectator access is sold by the day or as a bundle: a Day One Voucher for the finals, a Party Voucher for the closing day, or the full H.O.T Pack, which is markedly cheaper at the early-bird rate than at standard. Parents of Junior – Kid competitors have their own two-day voucher at 100,000 VND. The «Character & Musicality» workshop with Tường Milo runs 13:30–16:00 on the last day: 280,000 VND early bird, 350,000 VND at the door, half price for competitors.

Worth knowing before you go: team registration closed in early August and each bracket is capped at 15 teams, so the remaining days are built around the audience. Thien Van hill is an open-air site roughly 7 km southwest of central Hai Phong — bring shoes you can stand in and check the forecast.

Three days, three generations of dancers and one hill. Pick your spot early and you will see the finals up close.
