«Global Gate Halong ESG++ Marathon 2026»

   This course was drawn with one purpose: personal bests. Wide, flat, almost no climbing and very few corners — which means you hold a rhythm instead of losing momentum at every turn. Organisers are open about calling it a course built for records.

   The first edition aims to gather 24,000 runners across four distances — 42 km, 21 km, 10 km and a 3 km family run. There is a second target too: a Vietnamese record for the largest number of runners wearing a Net Zero message shirt.

   The start sits inside Vinhomes Global Gate Ha Long, a Vingroup mega-development built to the ESG++ ISO 37125 standard, on the edge of the bay itself. The day before is expo and race-pack collection.

   Minimum ages go by distance: 18 for the marathon, 16 for the half, 12 for the 10 km, 5 for the 3 km. That last one is the reason a whole family can enter without anyone being left on the pavement.

   Entry runs in four waves. Early Bird (24 July – 2 September): 3 km 350,000 VND, 10 km 430,000, 21 km 490,000, 42 km 590,000. Regular (3–22 September): 380,000–680,000. Read the small print first: fees are non-refundable, changing your personal details is free, but switching distance or transferring an entry costs 300,000 VND plus any price difference.
