Techno night «Beyond Techno: iMessenger Birthday Night» at SAGA Da Nang

   Three straight hours from one man behind the decks — the founder of Da Nang's techno community, playing his own birthday set. This is not a stitched-together line-up but a single long arc, with an opening, a peak and an ending.

   The night belongs to iMessenger, founder of Da Nang Underground, the community behind most of the city's techno programming. His three-hour extended set is billed as one continuous narrative: every transition and every layer is meant as part of a larger story that folds underground influences into the community's own sound.

   Support comes from ATALA (UK) and DALENA (USA). DALENA is no stranger to this floor — she has been playing SAGA since 2025.

   SAGA itself sits in the An Thượng quarter, a few minutes inland from My Khe beach, and has kept a steady run of techno and psytrance nights going since 2024, so both the rig and the crowd know what to do with this music.

   There are two entry tiers worth knowing about in advance: it is free before 11:30pm, and 150,000 VND on the door after that, with one drink included. Before 11pm there is also a beer promotion — buy one get one on local beers, buy two get one on draft.
