Club night «Blends Take Over with Pam Anantr»

«Some things don't fit through a bar door easily. We're bringing our sound anyway» — that is how the SONIC! crew announces the night its L-Acoustics rig leaves Hoi An for the first time. The system that stood on the sand at sunrise parties will be carried into Blends Social Bar piece by piece, stacked, wired and tuned for one room and one night.

It is the first time SONIC! and Blends have joined forces. The headliner is Pam Anantr from Bangkok: her sets glide from soulful disco into boogie, jazz-funk and house; she has played Circus Tokyo, Wonderfruit, Beam, Zodiac Jakarta and Rinse FM, and Mixmag Asia picked her as one to watch back in 2024. In Bangkok she built the Salon Kiku space and holds residencies at Transport and The Standard.

Alongside her — the local family: La Riff of Da Nang's Gu project, Jazz Cat Luong and SONIC! resident Patrick S. The musical frame of the night is disco, funk and soul.

A night for people who go to a bar for the sound rather than the background: an audiophile beach rig rebuilt inside a city bar is a rare configuration.

Details are on the event page on Resident Advisor.
