Programme «Mỹ Sơn Xanh – A Journey of Heritage and Nature»

   More than the towers: a day at My Son with a herb garden under the forest canopy, Cham pottery turning on the wheel, and an arts programme telling three stories at once — Cham, Kinh and Cơ Tu. This is how Da Nang marks World Tourism Day this year.

   The «Mỹ Sơn Xanh» («Green My Son») programme responds to World Tourism Day, 27 September, and opens from 25 September 2026 at the My Son Sanctuary. On the programme: exploring the medicinal-herb garden and native plants, with a herbal foot-soak; a photo exhibition of My Son's wildlife and forest flora; a craft demonstration space — Cham pottery, brocade weaving, conical-hat making and stone carving; the arts programme «Colours of Cham – Kinh – Cơ Tu Culture»; an exhibition of Cham instruments, artefacts and documents; and a round table under the programme's own title.

   For anyone who has been to My Son just for the towers and wants a reason to go back; good for families too — the craft area lets you try things with your own hands.

   The source gives neither a closing date nor a separate fee; the sanctuary is visited on its standard entrance ticket. My Son is about 40 km from both central Da Nang and Hoi An.

   A slow day in the valley, where heritage is more than something to look at.
